One of the defining attributes of patient satisfaction is its dependence on provider attitude. Patients tend to be satisfied with the care that they receive when healthcare providers demonstrate positive attitude towards them. This includes being friendly, approachable, courteous, and kind. Therefore, nurses and other healthcare providers should explore evidence-based interventions for use in improving their patient satisfaction with care. In addition, health organizations should implement systems and processes that contribute to patient satisfaction with care.

I agree that critical thinking is a great nursing concept to discuss. According to Dictionary.com, critical thinking can also be defined as the mental process of actively and skillfully conceptualizing, applying, analyzing, synthesizing, and evaluating information to reach an answer or conclusion. This definition truly explains what nurses do daily as they manage the health of their patient. The consequence of questioning orders is definitely a consequence of critical thinking. Most nurses who apply critical thinking skills throughout the care of the patient will know when to question and why to question an order based on the overall health of the patient. Another consequence of critical thinking is to make a call to get an order for a patient based on assessment, interventions, and outcomes. I am not sure of how efficient the empirical referent would be, because I am not sure how to actually measure critical thinking skills. Scenario testing is a start but not sure how effective that would be in the real world atmosphere.

You must proofread your paper. But do not strictly rely on your computer’s spell-checker and grammar-checker; failure to do so indicates a lack of effort on your part and you can expect your grade to suffer accordingly. Papers with numerous misspelled words and grammatical mistakes will be penalized. Read over your paper – in silence and then aloud – before handing it in and make corrections as necessary. Use a standard 10 to 12 point (10 to 12 characters per inch) typeface. Smaller or compressed type and papers with small margins or single-spacing are hard to read. It is better to let your essay run over the recommended number of pages than to try to compress it into fewer pages.
Likewise, large type, large margins, large indentations, triple-spacing, increased leading (space between lines), increased kerning (space between letters), and any other such attempts at “padding” to increase the length of a paper are unacceptable, wasteful of trees, and will not fool your professor.

Participation posts do not require a scholarly source/citation (unless you cite someone else’s work).
Part of your weekly participation includes viewing the weekly announcement and attesting to watching it in the comments. These announcements are made to ensure you understand everything that is due during the week.
APA Format and Writing Quality
Familiarize yourself with APA format and practice using it correctly. It is used for most writing assignments for your degree. As Masters’ level students, it is important that you be able to critically analyze and interpret information from journal articles and other resources. Simply restating someone else’s words does not demonstrate an understanding of the content or critical analysis of the content.
It is best to paraphrase content and cite your source.
