In this life we have people who have walked in similar pathways that we find ourselves. They have been successful to prove to us that we can make it. Those who were not successful ensure that the younger generations do not walk the same path as they did. This verse is telling me to remember people who have been a guide in my life, and I am blessed to have a lot of them who serve key roles in my life. My pastor back in Ghana has a way of making me see some situations differently and how to handle them. He has made me reached the point in my life where in the mist of any storm I must remain calm. And his phrase is” it is well”. He always reminds me that God will not give me anything that I cannot handle and that I have all the capabilities to enjoy my God-given life. This has been his principle and I see it has worked for him all these years. I have seen much improvement in my life with all this principle. The days I get anxious or worried I hear my inner being reminding me that it is well. It keeps me very calm, and this helps me think through things well. This enables me to avoid making mistakes that will make me regret. I have also come to accept that I can achieve any goal I set my mind on.
This verse is an excellent example of the leadership values that are rooted in the Christian faith. By remembering and imitating effective Christian leadership, these values can be applied and stimulate personal and spiritual growth. Christian leadership is rooted in service and love and influencing others. Leaders are driven and motivated by their love for God and fellow man. Effective leaders from the Bible also showed self-development and spiritual growth, even in difficult times. They were constantly seeking to further their connection with God. Modesty is also an essential quality for effective Christian leadership as arrogance directly conflicts with Christian values. Christian leaders are also able to apply corrections to others in a positive and effective way, rather than negatively. Positive leaders can motivate others and redirect their purpose towards a higher power. Leaders must also exemplify integrity and portray a way of life that matches what they are “preaching” so to speak. Living by example will foster trust in others. This verse also can be explored with a non-religious interpretation. In both a personal and professional setting, we are drawn toward effective leaders. We lean on them for guidance and support but also observe and emulate them to mimic their behavior and adopt their qualities. As a future nurse leader, I think that these Christian values are essential to incorporate into personal life and professional practice to be an effective leader for others

” In both a personal and professional setting, we are drawn toward effective leaders. We lean on them for guidance and support but also observe and emulate them to mimic their behavior and adopt their qualities”
God plays a large part in our lives if we listen to God’s word whether at church or in prayer. God sometimes uses us to accomplish his purposes and to make a difference in the lives of others. We have to remember our teachers, mentors, preceptors and the people around us, but most of all God, who thought and shaped us to be a good person and successful in life.
Blessings
This verse is applicable to many different aspects of someone’s life. I interpret this verse telling the reader to remember those who spoke to you genuinely and with love. Also, to recognize and evaluate how that person lives their life in a way that you can see their overall outcome in life; in a religious sense, if they lived a life that will bring them to heaven or positive place after life on earth. This verse reminds me to appreciate those who have been genuine with me and spoke to me with love and kindness, regardless of the situation or topic of conversation. It also reminds me to speak from a place of love and kindness to others, no matter who they are. This is so important in daily life and in your work life. As a nurse, this comes into play each shift as we must speak to each patient, family member, and each other with kindness and love. This means putting aside our preconceived ideas and thoughts to listen and respond from a place of human love and kindness. God’s word, in my opinion, is unconditional love; love without judgment as we are all part of his creation. In work, when we can care for others, we are caring for them as a human being. When we do this, we become leaders speaking the word of God for others to consider the outcome of our way of life.
